and then there were 4!

I was scheduled to go to the hospital Wednesday night for my induction. Lil Man went to school then he and the Hubby came home for us to spend a little time together before we headed to the hospital.

It was a beautiful day so Lil Man and I played outside and enjoyed the weather.

Baby Boy was born at 3:50 am on Thursday morning. Here he is getting his first bath.

Finally, they brought him to my room once I got settled, and he was all cleaned up.

His proud Poppa meeting him for the first time.

Wearing his first outfit and getting packed up to head home!!

Strapped in and waiting on Daddy to pull the car around and our nurse to pull our wheelchair to the room.

Homeward bound!!

Chillin at home!

"Mom, I'm trying to sleep.....really, can the pictures not wait?!"

Picture with big brother.

Nap time with mommy!

There's a quick peak of the past three days. We're all trying to adjust to adding a new member to the family. It's going really well but oh how you forget the tiredness a newborn brings.

Lil Man is wanting to "help" a lot. He's even offering his sippy cup and Cheez Its to his little brother. Needless to say, I can't leave them in the room alone together.

Insanity

That's what it has felt like around here the past week.

No baby yet!

Just everyday life on top of trying to get ready for the new addition. The Hubby has been working like crazy. My sweet 2 yr old will not detach himself from me.

One great thing is the weather. It has been beautiful for the past week or so. Saturday we decided to take Lil Man to the zoo since it was so pretty. (I'm having trouble with my card reader so I'll try to post those tonight.)

Tomorrow is the big day. I'm scheduled to be induced tomorrow evening. Sooooooo ready to meet this little guy!!

That's all I got for now b/c 2 yr old mentioned above needs Mommy's attention. **Sigh**

Who has the right?

In this instance, who has the right to complain????

Lil Man???...... since he only has one pair of shoes while his daddy and I have two pairs.

One evening last week I walk into the kitchen and what do I see. Five pairs of shoes at the back door. Let me say that there is a closet not 3 ft from this spot where shoes are stored.

I think we missed! :-)

What's a boy to do on a beautiful day?

.......pull out his golf clubs of course!

Yes, I do realize he is hitting as a lefty with righty clubs. Too bad toy clubs can't be bought for lefties. We really think Lil Man is going to be a lefty more and more..... so right now, he just hits with the club backwards.

Lovin it!

The Sun is out!! The thermometer should read 67 or 68 degrees today......

This means I'll have one happy little boy who gets to spend almost all day outside playing.

"Sway"

As I am walking towards my husband's vehicle which he is sitting inside of with the window down watching me.......

"You've got a little....(hand motion of swaying).... going on."

Me: "All you're allowed to say is 'Babe, you take my breathe away' or 'Damn, you're sexy' "

His response: "It's a sexy sway."

I guess that's a good compromise. Cause girl's got a sway going on these days. But that's cool cause I'm 3 weeks away until Baby Boy will make his presence known.

But....... it does pay to be a little more careful around me these days. My temperament is slightly up and down a little more than normal. Just a word of caution. :)

Make the World a Better Place

I can single handily change the world and make it a better place.

Honestly!

Why someone hasn't thought of this before baffles me.

If everyone was as nice to each other, as helpful to people, as respectful and courteous as........

as people are to pregnant women. This world would rock!!

I kid you not! As I get larger, and I feel as though I'm growing on a daily basis now, I have more doors opened, more helping hands, more courteous encounters, and more respect shown than ever. It was this way with my first pregnancy. Being pregnant brings out the best in others.

For example..... I was walking into the bank the other day. This guy was about 5 feet behind me. He practically runs to the door to open it for me. The bank has two sets of doors. "I've got the other one too!" he says. As I'm grinning, "Thanks! But I can get it." Nice guy, "I've got! It's my good deed for the day."

Seriously, I believe in opening doors for people..... regardless of gender. It's called being courteous. But really, you don't have to run and go out of your way to do it.

Thought for the day: If you would do it for a pregnant lady, do it for anyone!
