Just some sentences

Lil Man had his first t-ball practice last night.  He exhausted himself running around everywhere thoroughly enjoying himself.  I had all 3 boys for the first time last night by myself for dinner, baths and bedtime.  Frankly, I'm pretty darn proud of myself for getting it done in such a timely, calm manner.  I won't tell you that dinner consisted of M.cDonald's to-go as we were leaving town after practice.  Baby Boy is a little parrot.  You say it; he says it right back.  So if there's anything you think you don't want a child to say, do NOT say it in from of him.  He does it the most when we're in the car.  I'll be talking to the boys.... or each one individually, and BB will repeat whatever I say.  Cracks me up!  I had to take TSD to the hospital to get an ultrasound on his hip.  His pediatrician thought his left hip might not be exactly where it should be.  I should be getting the results today as to what the findings were.  I'm sad that TH is back to work because I really, really enjoyed having all 5 of us home together day in and day out.... but, I'm looking forward to us all getting back into routine.  I (the boys and I) do better with schedules when TH is working.  I'm a lot more hardcore about it because everything is on me.  I've got 10 lbs to go to be at pre baby weight..... and 10 more to be at pre all my babies' weight!!  So, 20 pounds and I'm close to my wedding weight.  When TH works, I'm better about meal planning and making healthier meals.  Got to get back on that!!! The weather 'round these parts has been beautiful and time for shorts to make their appearance.  Sunday is Baby Boy's birthday.  We're just planning a small family party.  I've got to get a few decorations and make him some cupcakes.  Not like I can just pop into the store and buy him a cake..... not with his food allergies.  Being a mom to 3 is A LOT different than being one to 2..... lots different!  I'll post more on that soon.  TSD has been in 3 month clothing since the day he was born.  No little babies in this family.  I've only bought him one thing, and that's his E.aster outfit to match his big brothers'.  BB has been a lot more clingy since he's no longer the baby any more.  I hear "hold me!" quite a lot these days.  Time to put the two little ones down for a nap and wake TH up from his sleep.  Happy Friday!! Here's to us all having a great weekend.  Peace!

Brothers

We've had crazy, beautiful weather the past week or so.  The boys have been playing outside as much as possible.  They literally have spent pretty much all day outside on several days.  This is what they did the other day......

Baby Boy was the driver while Lil Man took care of "business".  Ha!

It cracks me up how one moment they are fighting like crazy then the next moment are playing all nice together.  I wish they played together nicely ALL the time.

Here's to many more sunny, beautiful days with all my boys.

Serving up

What I had planned to serve for dinner did not quite happen.......

Yep, that charred meat was what I had planned on serving my family.  Instead, I served up h.ot dogs because as you can see the chicken didn't turn out as I had planned.  I put the meat on the grill then stepped back inside to deal with the baby.  While I was taking care of him, I was composing an overly sarcastic, slightly mean email in my head to a friend.  Okay..... it was extremely sarcastic and straight up mean.  The friend I was writing to I'm sure found it funny..... because it was!  If a random person were to read it, she wouldn't get it but I know it was written with mean girl attitude..... any way, did I learn my lesson?  Probably not but maybe.

OHHHHHHH, did I forget to tell you?!  Not only did I burn the meat, I also burned the grill up.  As you can see, TH had to get the hose (it's a gas grill! or WAS a gas grill) to get the fire completely out.  My sweet husband decided he needed to post the aftermath on F.acebook.  **sigh** Guess I'll be getting a new grill for M.other's Day.

Arriving home

Arriving home..... bringing our baby home to our two older boys was glorious!  Giving birth to him was wonderful but having him home, in our home, was even more so.  The boys came to the hospital for about an hour the day after TSD was born.  It was so chaotic that they didn't really get to interact with their newest brother.

Coming home...... LM was the first to greet our little guy.
Giving him a kiss was the first order of business.

Baby Boy was all about Momma.  He woke up from a nap just a short time after we arrived home.  The two of us stayed in the position for 10 to 15 minutes.  Oh my gosh! ...... Never enjoyed my little boy snuggles so much.

"Hold baby! I hold baby!" These words were uttered over and over by Baby Boy.  He finally got his wish later on in the evening.  He was absolutely in love with his little brother.

Two of my sweet boys!

Chillin at home......

Each day is an absolutle blessing.  I'll admit it's not always easy but oh what joy my 3 boys bring.  The hardest part at this point with the boys is bedtime.  As TSD gets a little older, I think it will get easier.  Baby Boy still likes to be put to bed..... he wants to be rocked and cuddled.  I've been lucky that TH has been home so far each night.  He's got another week before he goes back to work.  Man, I'm sure liking all the time he's built up!  ha!  It's been great for our family to just hang out and get into our new groove.

Hello, World

Our little boy is now a week old!!  Oh, how time flies.  I can't believe it's been over a week actually.  I went into the hospital last Thursday evening.  We got everything rolling around 6:30 pm.  By 11:30 pm, I was ready to push and get the show started.  I think it was 11:40 was I started pushing and by 11:49 pm we had a baby!!

Our little boy said "Hello, World."

Holding my sweet boy the first time.  Not much in the world can compare to holding your baby for the first time.

Meeting his Daddy.

Proud Nana and Poppa.

The next day.... meeting Grandmommy for the first time.  TH's mom and dad stayed with the big boys Thursday night so my parents could be at the hospital.

Meeting his great Grandmama.

Granddaddy and biggest bro...... how cute is this!

BB giving his little brother a head rub.  Ha!  Poppa standing guard to ensure it's a gentle head rub.

The star of the show..... I am in love!  Amazes me how I can love each of my boys SOOO much!

Meeting his other great.... MaMa.

And on Saturday..... it was time to go home!!!

So, TSD was born around midnight Thursday night.  We had to stay until Saturday afternoon before we could be released.  I could not have imagined a easier delivery.... thanking the good Lord for a healthy, little boy.

All 3

This was our first attempt to get a picture with all three boys....... it was pure chaos!!!!

TH had his hands full with the two big boys.  My dad had to lend a hand and hold TSD in the picture.  It was too funny!  We'll try again once I get home.  Having two boys in the hospital room was less than relaxing...... WAY too many things for them to get into.

The end..... 40 weeks

The end is in sight...... I'm now 40 weeks!!!

How far along: 40 Weeks

Baby-related purchases: An E.aster outfit that matches his big brothers' outfits.  Two prints that have sailboats on them..... his room has kind of  a nautical theme.

Maternity Clothes: Oh yeah! I wear the same black pants to church each week. And I wear the same two pairs of jeans during the week. I'm pretty much over maternity clothes and ready to wear my "real" clothes again.  And if you notice, I'm wearing the same shirt in this photo that I was wearing in my 37 week update.
Best moment this week: Getting all the furniture arranged throughout the house.  We moved LM's furniture into BB's room.  LM got a full-size bed and dresser to go into his room.  We don't have a spare bed in our house if someone stays the night.  Now, we do.  LM's room will be where an overnight guest stays.  I really wanted this done because my mom or my MIL will probably stay a few nights here and there due to TH's work schedule.

Strangest moment this week:   My belly button "popped".  This has never happened to me before so it's kind of weird for me.

Movement: For sure! Movement that's almost so strong it's painful.

Food cravings Still on a fruit kick!
Gender: BOY!

Belly button in or out: Out!  As I explained in the Strange part.

What I miss Moving with ease.  Just little things I took for granted before my belly got so big.

What I'm looking forward to: Having my baby boy in my arms.  Seeing my husband with his 3 boys.

Weekly Wisdom:  Letting others help when offered.  I'm a "do it myself" kind of gal, type A personality.  It's not easy to ask for help or accept it when offered.  I'm telling myself with 3 children and a husband that works the hours he does, I've got to do it!  We'll see if it actually happens.

I made the decision to be induced on my due date.  I've birthed two 9 lb babies so far.  This baby is on the same track.  I really don't want him to get any bigger so I made the choice to go in on my due date.  Today is the day!!! Wish me luck and say a prayer.  Next time you hear from me...... I'll be introducing our sweet boy.
