I knew having a child was going to change things in our lives....... I just didn't realize I might have to change furniture b/c of my darlin' little boy.
John and I built our house in the fall of 2004 and moved in in January 2005. When I was picking out furniture of the house, I did not consider children. We had only been married for a year so it's not like a child was right around the corner...........WELL, we now have that child. The point of this post is our kitchen table. I loved the table 5 years ago when I bought it. And I honestly have to say we never really used it until after Cason was using a high chair. The table is a health hazard!! (to say the least). It has a glass top sitting on a pedestal. Tiny finger prints can been seen all around the glass top. I'm actually cool with this; the thing that scares me is that the top could possibly rock over and land on my child.
The solution......... (John has yet to see the price tag.) I'll have to do some smooth talking. :) What you think?? I'm loving it!!
It has a leaf that makes it a 6 person table. This is actually something that will come in VERY handy. Maybe Santa will come a little early to the Crum house!! :)

Love it! I really like that dark wood.
I have a glass topped dining table too and it's the worst! And I don't even have little ones yet.
