What a day

Let me tell you..... This was one eventful day!!

Today was the hubby's family Christmas. We were headed to his sister's house for a late lunch with her family and the in-laws. Well...... the hubby did not attend his own family's Christmas. He wasn't feeling too hot (didn't look to hot either) so he made the decision to stay home. Which was a good one because no one else wants to get his funk.

I admit I made things a little harder on myself because I kept putting off some things and waiting to the last minute but anyway...... Lil Man and I headed out late morning to do a few last minute things and then headed to said SIL's house.

I felt like I had an attachment that couldn't be removed. I am referring to my child. I don't know if it's because we have been on the go so much the past four/five days or because he hasn't been feeling well..... but OH MY GOSH!! No one could touch the child or hardly look at him wrong. I took him to the bathroom with me, ate one handed while holding him, and plain just carried the child everywhere. I felt horrible for my MIL and FIL. They don't get to see Lil Man all that much and when they do....... Not a cool Lil Dude!!

Finally after about 3 hours, Lil Man and I had about all we could take. Not because of anyone else, the two of us were exhausted for different reasons.....him because he was just acting exhausting and me because I was the only one who could deal with him. Luckily, he slept the whole way home after watching Andy Gr.iffin for a little while.

Arriving home didn't make things better. It took 2 hours before he would unlatch himself from him. I made the decision coming home. He's not leaving the house for at least 2 days so he can get back on routine.

And please please........ SICK BUG THAT'S BEEN HOUNDING US FOR WEEKS. "GO THE HECK AWAY!!!!"

I have some more Christmas pictures to post but I'm exhausted. The ill (as in sick not angry) hubby is in bed. My Lil Man is in bed (not sure for how long). I'm going to bed!!
