Lots and Lots has happened. It's mainly been a "stop and smell the roses" kind of time.
TOOt! TOOt! This is me tooting my own horn. I had a friend talk me into joining her in a 5k walk/run charity deal Friday evening. Yeah, not so much a walk/run.......let me say also that I had Lil Man with me in his jogger. And my friend had her little one in her jogger. We jogged the first 1.5 miles....walked a bit, jogged some more, walked, then sprinted the finish. I have to say I'm quite proud of myself. I am not, NOT, a runner.....occasionally I will jog but for the most part I'm a walker. I finished in 38 minutes....Good or not???? Who the H$#% cares...... but I did it and it was FUN!! the best part.....(as we were joggin my some guys) "WOW! I'm impressed. Look at those moms go and pushing strollers" this was the comment we got. [grin]
Saturday.......Play day!! We hung out at the house. And played played played. My parents came over to hang out, and we ended up throwing some burgers on the grill. Then my dad and hubby decided to put the boat in the water....which is now sitting in our slip just waiting to go out. We then went to dinner at some friends in the "hood".
Some pictures of Lil Man enjoying some pull time Saturday morning.
Thinking he can "pull" himself.....or NOT!:)
Letting my mom take a turn in pulling Lil Man.
The Hubby and I having some "together" time! Ha Ha. SEE.....SHADES ON!! I then stated we had to get at least one with no shades! LOL

Sunday.....after church and lunch....at home having family time.
Lil Man playing in Jake's bed.
Grinning for his mommy!
I've for the past few weeks just been enjoying my husband and son. At times, life can get so hectic that we forget to slow down and just enjoy life.
Is my house as clean? NO
Is all the laundry done? NO
Is my car a mess? YES
Do bills need to be filed? YES
But you know what???? This will all be here the next day or the next day.
I'm living the now as my little boy is loving being outside and experiencing new things and growing into a happy, vibrant soon-to-be 2 yr old. My husband is home and not working insane hours (right now).
Sniff Sniff
My roses smell pretty darn good!!! How about yours?

I agree. it seems out there in the blogging world there were many of us mommies who needed a little time to let things go after Easter weekend. WHo can blame us? Congrats on the run!
