Best darn 30 Bucks

Yesterday didn't go exactly as planned. The Hubby was supposed to spend the day at home with Lil Man and myself. Yeah, that only lasted until 3ish. He got called out while we were in town running a few errands. We got back home and off his went.

But

Luckily, for my sanity, we had bought Lil Man a new toy. He was in love!! So this is what he did for the rest of the afternoon. Very seldom do we buy new toys. He normally only gets new things at birthday and Christmas. (Yes, I'm a mean mommy. I'm not one of those that buys something every time we go into a store....... my weakness is cute clothes. [grin] )

And actually, half of the $30 was spent on Jake. We bought him a new toy also. Lil Man helped him play with it, and they both kept each other occupied for a while.

I couldn't resist adding the next two pictures. THe Hubby worked late into Friday night so Lil Man went with me on my morning walk. This picture was taken at 9:00am. YES, my kid fell asleep that EARLY. Does that tell you how bad he slept the night before??!!
