just a freak selling chicken and beef out of the back of his pickup (with a freezer strapped down) giving off sketchy vibes.
We were headed out to my parents' for dinner tonight. As we were leaving the subdivision, we went by one of our friends' house. She was standing at her front door with the door partially open holding her little girl; a dude was standing at the bottom of her front steps.
We went drove by, and I immediately told The Hubby to turn around. He was like "What?!"
Me: TURN AROUND! (Spoken very firmly and seriously pronunciation)
Hubby: (turns around) Just call her.
Me: Just pull in the driveway please.
We turned in the driveway, and I open the car door. "HEY girl! (Very loud and very enthusiastic) You teaching Jazzercize tomorrow?" (This was the first thing that popped into my head. I was just trying to think of something quick.)
Friend: Walking very quickly to our car leaving the dude in her dust. All the while mouthing "Thank you! Thank you!" (The dude walked back to his truck which was parked at a neighbor's house.) He's a freak and had me rattled. Thank you guys for stopping."
Me: Well, I didn't see his vehicle. And frankly, you didn't look to inviting so no harm in us pulling in and making sure everything was cool.
Friend: OK, he definitely had me rattled. I was trying to get him gone but he was wanting to talk. I told him I had people coming for dinner and had to get cooking.
Me: I completely understand and would want someone to do the same for me. Ok, gotta go to dinner. We really just wanted to make sure everything was cool. You guys have a good night!"
PS: to all freaks, salesmen and axe murderers........We watch each others' backs in this neighborhood. Seriously, go mess with someone else. We will kick ass and take names after the fact. I'mjustsaying and thankyousoverymuch sale your crap elsewhere!

Onto other things.
I got an unexpected day off. Lil Man and I just hung out. We've gotten 3" of rain the past two days but that didn't stop my son from wanting to water the plants. It made him happy and kept him occupied so I let him play and enjoy himself. When The Hubby got home, we all went for a family jog. I let my sweet husband push Lil Man in the jogger and I took Jake. I'm trying to get him to get up in the AM and do it again.

Ugh, creeper!! I'm glad you were keeping an eye on your neighbor... We sometimes have people knock on our door during the day when I'm alone, and it's definitely a creepy feeling.
And I love the pics of Lil Man... he's a cutie! :)
