"Party Like It's 1999!"

That's what we did last night. Partied like it was 1999 and had a blast while doing so.

Last night was my 10 yr high school reunion.

Truthfully, there was probably only a handful that I truly cared about seeing. It was still nice seeing some people that I haven't seen in 10 years though. Some have changed tremendously; some not so much. Name tags!!! A true blessing. A friend and I were trying to figure out who the heck this one dude was; it turned out he was a spouse of a classmate. [grin] We were relieved!!!

The venue was kind of random. It was more of a bar and grill / outdoor dining. Everyone had said they didn't want to spend a ton of money. Because let's face it, these days most don't have extra cash laying around to toss. A group of us migrated up away from the "party" and had our own little party. This was after most of our classmates had started departing. Those of us who have children were NOT going home early!! We were enjoying a night out knowing our little ones were in good hands. I think all babies/children in our group were being kept grandparents. Worry...... we did not. Have a good time....we did!

Even The Hubby admitted to having a good time. The girls that I was really interested in spending time with.... The Hubby knows them and knows their husbands. So for the most parts, all our husbands hung out.

Lil Man had some fun of his own. My parents had him for the night. They took him to a local rodeo. My child loves cows, horses, and most animals in general. So this was right up his alley. My mom said at first he was a little unsure of what was going on but after a little while he was standing and clapping. He would hold up his hands and yell. I told her she should have taken her camera but she didn't.

And I totally forgot my camera!! I'm hoping to get some pictures from some classmates!!

I skipped my 10 year but made it to my 20 year {wow, I'm old}.
It was interesting to see how much some people had changed and others not so much.
I refused to bring hubby cause he needles me endlessly about being in band camp. I can only imagine the fun he'd have with that in front of everyone. LOL!
