Pure craziness.....maybe a little less sane!

I'm happy to say The Hubby is on the way home!!! Yippie! He called earlier this afternoon to tell me he was going to be working with some other agencies and didn't know what, where, or when. He then sent me a text earlier this evening saying probably wouldn't see him tomorrow and no phone calls allowed.

But.....

Just got a message. He's ETA is an hour or so!! Can I get a hallelujah??!!

Moving on.......

Ladies' Night was wonderful as always! We had a yummy dinner then moved out to the back deck, enjoyed the evening, and just chatted away. Nothing like keeping one sane when you have your ladies to sit and chill with. We laugh! We complain! We generally just love each other and love being together.


AND who the heck needs P90X, The Shred, or anything like that when you walk up stairs 86 gazillion times in one night!!!! My child was having issues. You would think someone was pulling out his finger nails the way he was carrying on. Seriously ...... I walked up stairs no less than 10x earlier. My sympathetic meter was pegged! Mommy got a little harsh. I quit being nice. And I swear Lil Man knew his daddy was gone! Finally, after 30 minutes of rubbing back, rubbing head, him crying, me telling him sternly to go to sleep..... my baby is asleep.

And my hubby is on the way home!! (Did I mention that already?! [grin] Ooops!)

When we were putting the boat back in the water last week or so...... Lil Man enjoying riding with the window down.

This is what things have been like around here. Poor Jake

is annoyed all the time by my child.

So.... that's a little of what we've been up to. Didn't see any pics of The Hubby? Well, the man has been work, work, and more work. I took last Friday off and spent the day with my cousin and her kiddos. Another cousin actually came by and hung out too. We're making more plans to get together next week. AND coming up this weekend..... my 10 yr high school reunion!! I have to say I'm excited. There's only a handful of people I really want to see so I'm looking forward to it. The decision was made to go kind of low key due to people not wanting to spend tons of money. It's going to be laid back and hopefully lots of fun.

Ok.... that 's all I got! I'm am tired and I really need to catch up on reading some of my fav blogs. Peace!
