Since Lil Man was itty bitty, we have kept his toys in a basket and Jake's toys in a basket. They are not allowed to play with each other's toys. That's the rules. When that rule applies to balls, it's a little harder. A lot of Lil Man's small balls have been put away because they are so small, and Jake could swallow them or choke on them.
Last night Lil Man saw a ball in the closet that belongs to Jake. I let him have it (It's been raining for days and frankly the kid and the dog needed something to entertain themselves with). Here's what I saw while I was trying to cook dinner.
Do you not love the the picture of Lil Man trying to entice the ball from Jake by doing a flip?? This honestly went on for 10 minutes. Every so often, Lil Man would get it and throw it for Jake to chase. Sadly, Lil Man came away with a few battle wounds. A time or two Jake wanted his ball, and Lil Man wouldn't give it to him. My child went to school today sporting a few scratches from being pawed by his dog. Nothing serious mind you!! Just a lesson or two learned........or maybe not!
