Kicking and Screaming

That might just be the way I'll be describing my husband in a few months. I might be dragging him while he's kicking and screaming.

I've been teaching the 4th/5th grade Sunday School class at our church for the past year. There was a wonderful lady helping me.... we would swap off every other month with another couple. Well, now my fellow teacher decided she doesn't quite have the energy for the upcoming gaggle of girls that will be joining us next fall. Her granddaughter will be among them, and I think she thinks it's best to sit out for a couple of years while they "pass" through. I probably have NO clue as to what I'm about to be faced with as far as these girls! This past year my class was filled with boys with only 2 girls. And since I'm a mom to two boys..... I feel that I'm about to be "schooled"!

It really is funny how it worked out though. Last Saturday night The Hubby (TH) and I were talking about me teaching next year or me not teaching so the two of us could attend a class for couples. We had made the decision that either I was stepping down from my teaching spot, or he was going to teach with me.

The very next day my teaching partner said she was not going to do it this fall. Ummmm, can you say WOW?! The decision was made for me!

So, this fall TH and I will be embarking on a new adventure....sharing the responsibility of telling 4th/5th graders about Christ. And this is good on two levels, we'll be doing it together and Lil Man (LM) will be attending Sunday School too.

I'm sure you'll hear lots more when the time comes for us to make the swap! I'm looking forward to it!
