Doesn't Pay

I just have to share this story with you.  Goes to show that being rude doesn't always come in handy and can make the rude person look foolish.

One day last week My Boss Man (who also happens to be my dad) and I had several meetings lined up throughout the day.  We stopped in a local cafe to have lunch.  This particular place isn't too big so seats are scarce at lunch time.  I went straight to the restroom when we walked in and MBM went to grab a table.  Another thing about this place..... they're slow to clean tables once they are vacated.  MBM decided to speed things along and clean our own table.  He had pulled the bus cart up and was putting the dirty dishes in the cart.  I come out of the restroom and start heading to the table.  I was only paying half attention b/c I knew I had a seat to go to so wasn't really looking at those around me.  A lady, if you can call her that, sees MBM cleaning a table....sees me heading to table being cleared and decides to cut me off.  Stepped directly in front me me and says over her shoulder, "I'm stealing this one."

Truthfully, I still was only paying little attention because I knew it was a table where my rump was going.  MBM looks at her and says, "No, you're not.  I'm cleaning it for me."  Seriously, I must have been in a freaking daze..... my dad had to explain the situation to me..... which may have been for the best really.

Rude lady, with red face, tries to laugh it off but realizes she looks like what she is...... a rude person who was put into her place.  OH!  And MBM offered her the bus cart when he was finished so she could clean her own table.

Moral to the story..... don't be rude!  It might just come back and bite you in the ass.
