For those of you interested..... Thursday's evaluation went pretty well. Lil Man was accompanied by his daddy. I could hear him crying for the first 5 mins or so once they went back.... but then nothing. Forty minutes passed and then I was called back to discuss what had taken place. TH and I heard what we were hoping to hear. There's no easy "fix" but this eval told us what our current speech therapist had originally told us. And that's what I wanted..... I want to hear the same thing from different people. Not different things for each eval..... so we're on the right track. Now, to sit down and start coming up with a game plan. The plan that will best work for our son.
Friday's evaluation..... Postponed! LM wasn't himself Thursday. Just a little off but enough for me to realize something was going on. Sure enough, Thursday afternoon rolls around, and he has this horrible, and I mean horrible, cough. It came from nowhere! Started running a fever and did so throughout the night. Friday, off to the pediatrician's office. And I had to cancel the scheduled evaluation..... it's rescheduled for the 15th. TH took LM to the doc for me and called to tell me he had Croup.
So that's what we've done this weekend. Hung out around the house and trying to get his little guy well.

I'm glad you are hearing the same things, it really helps, doesn't it? Now, has he done his preschool screening yet? Sometimes it helps to have that to factor in as well.
Hope he is better soon!
Yep, we went through a bout of croup in February. Super fun, isn't it? I hope you get some sleep. :)
