Survived

This past weekend TH and I went out of town for Saturday and returned Sunday.  We left our boys for the first time with someone other than my parents or my in-laws.

And guess what?!......... They survived!! And I survived!!

We were invited to a N.ASCAR Race (this is a whole other post!) by our neighbors.  He had gotten tickets from a family member that couldn't attend.  Of course, TH was all "I've never been to a race.  Let's go!" But anyway.....

I asked a younger cousin of mine to come up to the house and keep the boys for us.  She (along with her little sister) came up and took care of my boys.  I had them get there about an hour before we left to let the boys get reacquainted and comfortable with K & K.  I had to go over BB's food allergies.  This wasn't really that big a deal because I had prepared all of his meals and had them in the frig labeled.  Each meal was in a different container.  In the frig and in the pantry, BB has a shelf in each that contains foods he can eat.  If it's not found on either place, he's not allowed to have it. 

The boys did great and had so much fun.  I only wish K & K lived closer!!  I do have to say that K (the older sister) is a college graduate.  I'm still not sure if I'm to the point that I would let a teenager keep the boys.  Hey! I'm getting there.... a step at the time people! :)
