Sorting

Oh my!  Can I express the sheer joy when a rainy day and a day off for TH coincides?  Joy, I tell you.... pure joy!!  I come home with LM after school to a house with clean floors, laundry going and clothes being put away.  If the man had dinner planned and prepped, I might have just fainted.  But..... that's taking it a little too far. Ha!

Anyway..... back to sorting.  Because TH was cleaning and doing laundry, all the boys clothes were being taken up stairs in piles.  I'm bad about doing laundry late in the evening and doing it after the boys are in bed.  This way I can fold clothes without interference from little ones and watch my favorite shows at the same time.  The negative, a huge negative, is that the boys' clothes do not get put away.  They end up being piled on the dresser in our bedroom.  ..... the pile just keeps getting bigger and bigger.  It gets to the point that you have to look for clothes for the boys there and not in their own rooms.  Since my husband did his part in getting everything moved up to their rooms, I decided to attack their closets and sort clothing.  LM's closet now only has his current size...... nothing smaller!  BB's closet now contains his current size as well as what he will grow into.  We're lucky in that the boys have decent size closets.  BB is currently in 24 months and some 2T stuff.  But, his closet also now contains 3T things as well.  I made another pile....... **GASP!**  A pile for the "baby on the way".  As I was sitting in the floor moving clothes into piles, it went something like this..... Oldest, Middle and Baby.  And then it hit me like a ton of bricks.......

Baby #3 is on his way!  I mean it's obvious if you've seen my belly.  But to actually be making decisions and choices...... ummm, wow!

It's getting more and more real, huh!? Funny! Well, for me, because I am not the one doing the sorting!

The baby will be here before we know it! So fun to plan for a new little one!
