My 2 little V.alentine's

We all know what today is..... It's V.alentine's Day!  TH and I were lucky enough to have Sunday night as our night.  The boys spent the night with my parents so we could go to dinner and have the night to ourselves. I figured it's probably the last night we'll have with just the two of us for awhile.  With the arrival of #3 on the horizon, we grabbed the opportunity and ran with it.

So, today was a day for the boys.  We didn't go all out by any means.  But we did buy each of them a small toy and some cups.  Are you guys like us?!  We lose cups (the boys' cups) like it's nobodies business.  Anyway......

LM's reaction to his new M.onster Truck.  (We only have about 25 of them at home.  BUT, this was one he didn't have that he's been wanting.)

I've learned as a mom..... especially with my two boys.... we don't always have to go big.  It's the simple things.  BB got a truck with a trailer; LM got a new M.onster J.am Truck.  And my boys...... they were totally happy!! Keepin it simple; keepin it real.

Love it! Gavin got the Elmo that sneezes, I could not resist! And I got Luke a Scooby DVD with 3 episodes and few extra playdoh colors. He was thrilled. I also gave him a small bag of some party popcorn I made yesterday that he thought was for the neighbors. It was, but I saved some for him and he was so happy!! ;) Happy Valentine's Day!! Can't wait to see pics of the new boy!!

I did the same. I made up bags for the boys with some little stuff they have been wanting. I had friends over with their kids, and made them bags too, which was fun!
