The pool opened in our neighborhood last week... like it did in most I believe. As soon as the boys saw the sparkly, blue water, all I heard was "Go swimming!" and "Take me to the pool!"
Saturday we went to the pool. But oh lawd!! It took us over an hour to
get out the door. I had to get my pool bag packed, swim suits on the
boys, sunscreen on the boys and water toys.
Of course we couldn't find Lil Man's swimmies. I had to send him to the neighbor's to borrow theirs. If I am ever brave enough to take all 3 boys by myself, LM and BB will both have swimmies on. That will not be negotiable. Safety comes first. There's on way I can keep my hands on 3 at once.
And want to know the only person that really got in?!?! ME! Lil Man,
Baby Boy and TH all stayed on the steps. WHY?! Because the water was
freezing!! I'm hoping by this weekend the water will have warmed up.
Looking forward to a fun Summer in the pool. A Summer that I know will not in any way be relaxing because I am a crazy person around water when my kids are involved. If my boys have fun, I'll be happy (with several more gray hairs to go with the ones I already have!!).
