Octoberfest

After Cason had time to recover from his appointment this morning which included a 2 1/2 hour nap....we decided to head to Walhalla, SC to their annual Octoberfest. It's actaully a German festival with kiddy rides, yummy carnival food, and local craftsmen. We went really for the funnel cake! :) Cason has his first experience eating a funnel cake, and the boy LOVED IT!

Tried to take a picture of the sign....just didn't work though.

You can see some the carnival time rides. Cason got a kick out of watching them.

John and Cason listening to some local musicians while enjoying our YUMMY funnel cake. Oh....and you know you're in the South when they have deep fried Oreos and deep fried Snickers. We didn't try these out but now I wish we would have to just have seen what they tasted like.

Jake and I having a little quality time and watching some football while John was taking care of bath and bedtime with Cason. Jake feels a little left out occasionally now that Cason gets most of our attention. :(
