Nascar or Paula Dean

I am either going to be a race car driver in my next life or a chef. Just a little FYI.

To be determined at a later date!! :)

Anyway.....

___ ___ ___ ___ ___ ___ ___ ___ ___

The Hubby and I did not make Super Bowl plans. We had two different invites but made the decision to hang out at home and chill. This weekend has been a little on the crazy side. We just wanted to be together as a family.

I decided to do finger foods for snacking on while watching "the game". I love appetizer dinners. It definitely tends not to be as healthy as a normal meal. But, occasionally it's ok I guess.

My menu:
- A dip. (It was made with hamburger meat, Velveeta cheese, and Salsa) The Hubby likes it with Tostito scoops; others prefer Ruffles.
- Ham Delights. (Ham and cheese sandwhiches on rolls. With a little mustard sause. Toasted in the oven for just a little warm.)
- Buffalo Chicken Cheese Balls.

One of the items was a new recipe. It was the Buffalo Chicken Cheese Balls.

You can find the recipe at the following: http://www.foodnetwork.com/recipes/aaron-mccargo,-jr./buffalo-chicken-cheese-balls-recipe/index.html.

I changed it up just a little. Instead of using a rotisserie chicken, I just boiled a couple of bone-in breast and then deboned the chicken. I also added some wing sauce (instead of the regular hot sauce) that the Hubby and I both like. I highly recommend this as a quick and easy appetizer.

I honestly don't really care to actually watch the Super Bowl. The commercials are usually the most entertaining as far as I'm concerned. Just watched the half time show......not impressed. The past few years in my opinion.....the half time show was sub par.

That's why wireless is such a wonderful thing. One can "watch" the game and read blogs at the same time!! :) :)
