This afternoon...... I planted some flowers in my pots that I keep at the back door. As you can see...... I had such a good helper. Well, maybe not so much, but he had fun!!! AND I got my flowers planted.

Once I actually needed to plant the flowers..... I sent Lil Man off to "help" his daddy. (In the back of the work truck....
where the mulch was.) This kept him entertained for several minutes. :)

We've been doing more around the house and just enjoying being a family the past few weeks. We've been eating dinner here at home and not going out as much......I guess I've bought into the whole "economy is in the crapper ....it's time to tighten up" so we've been doing our part to tighten up and not spend. I've even been clipping coupons!!! This is serious!! [grin] I have to admit I love looking at my bill and see $$$ saved!!
More planting to come next weekend!!! And I need a pair of gloves ASAP!

Looks like y'all had a lot of fun.
And, me, I have a love/hate relationship with coupons. I love to use them but hate to hunt for them. I love the savings but half the time I just buy generic and save more than if I'd bought name brand with the coupon. Yes, I know, buy on sale and use the coupon together. I'll do that when the stars align and I remember my reusable grocery bags and all the kids aren't climbing all over me. So, should happen sometime around.... NEVER! ha ha
