Had a blast

This past weekend was great!

The Hubby and I both had the day off Friday...... we just spent it hanging out at the house. Lil Man enjoyed him some mommy and daddy time. Then Friday night, Lil Man spent the night with my parents. The hubby and I went out to dinner and just kicked back for a while. He then went into work for a while...... seriously, what kind of husband leaves his wife on "date night" and goes into work. (Can I tell you a secret though? It was kind of nice to have the whole house to myself and know that no one what want or call for me!! Shhhhh! That's just our secret. [grin])

Saturday was spent cruising the lake and working on our tans. We did BBQ ribs for dinner and followed that up with a local firework show. By this point, my child was pooped! He was a little trooper though and was on his best behavior. ( I have some pictures and will post those later!)

Sunday....... cookout with some of The Hubby's coworkers. Then home to relax and get ready for another week. And no.... things did not go as planned! I'm having to work this week.
