Yesterday was going so well until.......
I came home to let Jake out. I jumped in my car, threw it in reverse, and took off. ALL OF A SUDDEN my backup senors start going crazy.
Yes, I did..........
I might have slightly backed into a car that was sitting in MY OWN FLIPPIN driveway. The Hubby had brought home a car to work out of occasionally for work related purposes (Side note: this was not a nice car; it's a blend in with the homies kind of car). The stupid thing was in my way.
To make matters worse though, The Hubby and I had been semi arguing for three or fours days about this car in our driveway. I wanted it gone; he did not. BUT NOW HE DOES!! HA HA HA HA. So of course I hear the whole "I told you so." I'm here to say though...... if the stupid thing had not been in MY driveway, parked behind MY car...... I would NOT have hit it. (OHHHHHH, did I fail to say I was talking on the phone at the same time? [grin]) I was talking to my dad on the phone about something work related, looked in my rear view mirror, didn't see anything and off I went. What can I say? Did I screw up? Sure..... but to my defense.... the car was smaller than mine. I didn't see it.
There's a service station close to our office. They do all our company vehicle services and all that jazz. I immediately went there, asked if they would work a miracle and make the scratch or two that may or may not be on my car now. Mr Mechanic just hung his said and said if he could cover it up but I'd have to get the matching paint. So no..... we didn't have enough time to hide it before The Hubby saw it.
Moral of this story..... don't park in my driveway where I back out!! (It most certainly is not for me to slow down and pay more attention. HA!)

That sucks! I've done something like this before though. Sorry they couldn't cover the scratches up!
Oh, no! That stinks! Been there done that, too! Who hasn't? :)
I agree, and for the record? Cart corrals should be much brighter too. Silly things.
