Who needs buttons?

I have a small confession to make.

First, the doc's visit went great. Only gained 1 lb in a month!!! Score one for me!!!! Listened to baby's heartbeat. Everything is looking good. Had lab work done two weeks ago and that all came back good.

Now....... on to the confession.

I wore jeans today. And have gone ALL day long with the button undone. Yep, I've reached that point. Honestly, if you don't know me, you wouldn't know I'm pregnant. I'm 17 weeks today and sometimes wonder "Am I really pregnant?!" But I've gotten "the bump". I still had my belt on so you couldn't tell that the button was undone. I knew it was and thought I was scandalous all day long. Most of the pants I wear are the J.Crew chinos. Those are still fitting good! Thank goodness!

I'm off to the house to put on some NIKE lounge pants........ WITH NO BUTTONS!! :)

hee-hee. And you still wear a belt, God bless 'ya. I remember small weight gains early on and then all of a sudden one month I gained 12 pounds and was about beside myself. But hey - it's all good, right? congrats.

Girl, I am with you on that one yet......first thing to do on my list in the next couple of weeks is to find my maternity clothes....or at least jeans. I just dread it. Thank goodness for low rise pants!

Sweet! the first pregnancy, you can't wait to get into maternity. The second time...you CAN wait, can't you? Can't wait to see pics!

Girl, thread a rubber band or elastic hair tie through the button hole and slip both ands around the button and you cab fit into your "regular" pants even longer! Just a little unsolicited advice from someone who has also dealt with a 2nd pregnancy!
