Lil Bit of Christmas Cheer.......OR maybe a LOT

We are big on Christmas cheer around our house. This time of year just seems to lift my heart..... no matter what's going on or what's been going on. I love going to church seeing the sanctuary all decorated, singing carols, and hearing about the Christmas story (and just so you know, I love church all the time but again....this is a special time of year.)

The Hubby and I go all out decorating the house. He handles the outside and the inside in mine. Of course, this year he's had to do more because of the "bun in the oven."

My tree......and yes, I was on the ladder but not too high up.

Doing a little work from the floor.
And if you look real hard.......BABY BUMP!! (Actually, I'm beyond bump and into belly mode now! :) )
The Hubby's part!! And yes, he has to get up on the roof. And yes, it worries me. And yes, it's worth it. And lastly, he WANTS to do it!!

Lil Man's tree! Luckily for me I've got another boy on the way because this is a "boy" tree. I've added blue lights to it. The ornaments are blue and silver. And the decorations are trucks, animals, trains and planes.

Showing his daddy his tree.

I have no shame when it comes to my love for Christmas. For our family, the Christmas season is about family. We enjoy the whole present hoopla but spending time with family is the greatest joy. I'm 29 yrs old and still participate in traditions that were started as far back as I can remember. The days around Christmas are a little hectic, and a good amount of time is spent on the road.....but it all comes back to family and celebrating the birth of our Lord.

The house looks awesome, inside and out. Next year, I can't wait to decorate Walker's very own Christmas tree. And no, I don't see a baby bump...skinny:)
