Family Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving.....  We spent the day first with my mom's family then with my dad's family.  If you've followed for a while, you probably know my mom's family consist of 50 or so people.  One of my cousins had the idea to make a ton of photos since my grandmother wasn't able to be with us.  (That's a whole other story but bottom line we were happy she was in rehab..... not somewhere worse.  Which could have easily been the case considering the horrible wreck she was in the week prior to Thanksgiving.)

So.........

My grandmother's kids

Grandchildren (We're missing 4 of the guys)

Great-grandchildren..... oh the chaos!  This was too freakin funny!  Trying to get the children to "pose".
As close to perfect as we could get.... yes, that is a little screaming her head off.  And No, you can't see BB's face.

The reason for the chaos.  Imagine all these "Mama Hens" giving directions at once,  (Can you blame the crying?!?!)

Lil Man and my brother playing ball.

Baby Boy being all sweet with Nana.

Fooled ya!..... Attacking baby!!!

I wanted to get a sweet picture with the boys.  Ha!  Yeah, right!  I tried... that's about all I can say.

"He's good!  I'm done!"...... as LM is running away from his brother.

 Family shot

And to finish it off...... my sweet baby boy!..... when he's not attacking that is. :)

I'm lucky in the fact that most of my family lives within a couple of hours driving distance.  So the holidays are normally day trips for us.  The days tend to be long but we still get to come home and sleep in our own beds.  Which was good because...... about midnight Thanksgiving night LM starts calling for his daddy.  Next thing we know, we're changing bedsheets b/c he had thrown up.  This continued until midnight Friday night.

I do have to say that my husband took one for the team and let me go out Friday night with some old friends.  I didn't want to leave him at home with a sick child and the baby.  But, my sweet hubs insisted I go since I only see these girls once or twice a year.  OMG!  It was so much fun.  We closed down the restaurant.  I enjoyed a great night out while TH was here dealing with puke and screaming crying from the baby.  I know I know..... I owe him!!

Great, hilarious pics! We often do the same thing at holiday! Now, the man letting you go out Friday night? Even better way to cap off the holiday!
