Raise your hand

My son is learning one thing in school for sure!  If you want more of something, you have to raise your hand.  Lil Man was eating a snack at the table the other day..... cheese, I think.  I hear him saying "Mama!" with his hand in the air.  I was puzzled to say the least.  "What you need, babe?" was my response.  With his hand still in the air, "More cheese."  Since then, there have been several different times when he's wanted more of something and will hold his hand in the air.

Each day I'm amazed at how far my child has come since the middle of August.  Each day I'm just more and more pleased with the choice we made to move him to his current school.  I will say though.... during the holidays, I miss his old preschool with all the programs.  I miss the field trips that most of us parents went on to enjoy with our children.  But....and that's a big but! I am more than willing to miss out of the "fun" things knowing my son is where he needs to be right now.  I know this time next year Baby Boy will be at LM's old preschool so I'll get to enjoy those things with him.
