Over the monitor, I hear "I wanna rock, Mama." A few minutes pass and again I hear, "I wanna rock, Mama."
Three or four minutes go by then it's all out screaming. With a "I wanna rock, Mama!!" thrown in every few minutes. Baby Boy is ready for his nightly bedtime battle. I love rocking him, I really do! And really, don't mind. The problem...... I'm now rockin a 6.5 month belly. My pregnant belly along with a 28 lb toddler makes for a full lap. I'm literally running out of room in my lap. I can normally rock BB for 4 or 5 minutes then that's all I can handle. He wants to lay on my chest with a leg on each side of me. In other words, he's pretty much sitting on top of my belly. So back to that 5 minute limit...... that's all I can take of the baby pushing on my ribs and BB laying on my chest.
Finally, after an hour of dealing with BB and him finally being asleep, I can head downstairs for some quiet time myself. Then it hits me (this is what actually happened tonight!)...... there was a dirty diaper tied up in a plastic bag at the top of the stairs. It's no longer there. In the back of my mind, I remember BB saying while I was getting LM settled in bed, "Uh oh. Trash!"..... no flippin clue what the child DID with the poopy diaper. I do know there's no way in hell I'm going into BB's room to check it out. The kid is finally asleep and I'm not risking him waking up. I just hope and pray the diaper is tied up good enough to not stick up the whole room.
Mission for tomorrow: Find poopy diaper.

Rocking gets old after a while even without a pregnant belly...I can only imagine. :)
I hope you find the diaper sooner than later. :)
